A year of growth and consolidation

The Foundation moved from a field organisation to a facilitating institution, connecting communities with policy processes, technical agencies, and markets. Interventions ran under four priorities: strengthening Community Conserved Areas (CCAs), restoration and afforestation, nature-based livelihoods, and environmental awareness among youth.

  • Chief Executive appointed Chair of the National Working Group on Community Conserved Areas for 2025 to 2027
  • MoUs for a 30-hectare Afforestation, Reforestation, and Restoration pilot in 2026, envisioned to scale to 10,000 hectares, and for 160,000 native trees over 220 hectares with TERI
  • Management Collaboration Agreement with the Sendenyu community; Eye of Tomorrow Initiative inaugurated on November 29, 2025
  • Kenono Coffee launched on World Coffee Day, October 1, 2025; MoU with NABARD for Hills of Hope, starting 2026

  • Tseminyu District Green Initiatives formed as a multi-stakeholder platform with community institutions, the church, civil society, and Government
  • Coffee value chain assessed: over 200 farmers and 3.2 lakh plants across the district; first roasted coffee, Sendenyu Estate, launched at Hornbill
  • Biodiversity education and ecotourism initiative started with Ground-up Conservation
